How quickly my skin burned.
If you do one thing...
Get an overwater bungalow. It is a must in Bora Bora. Nothing beats the experience of being able to jump straight into the ocean from your bedroom.
Local gem?
Defining moment?
The Le Meridien has a turtle center. You get to clean and feed the turtles while they are nursing them back to health. They had 4 babies that needed to be released back into the wild and I was able to release one of them. Top 10 experiences of my life.
Bizarre encounter?
Swam with Sharks, manta rays and sting rays. Though this was definitely a cool experience, swimming with sharks was extremely scary.
Favorite activity?
Jet Ski tour around the island. Takes about an hour and a half, but so much fun.
